 This is Luna, my family's first ever dog. At the pushing of our youngest son to get a german shepherd dog, we adopted this shepherd mix from Shepherd's Hope Rescue in early 2009, at the time a one year old. We could not have been made happier with our choice. Not only is Luna tons of fun at home, but we have the fun of seeing her enjoy all her dog friends at the local dog run. This particular picture, a favorite of min, was taken on Easter 2009 at the Forest Park band shell. Luna joined us for the Easter Dawn meeting, a multiple church gathering to celebrate the rising of Jesus from the dead.
